                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 710
                   ASHLAND TERRACE, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   ASHLAND TERRACE SOUTHEAST OF THRUSHWOOD DRIVE,
                   FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 710 Ashland Terrace,
                being on the southwest line of Ashland Terrace
                southeast of Thrushwood Drive.  An unplatted tract,
                being the property described as Tract 1 in deed
                book 3600, page 952, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 109O-E-9.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
